Provide a venue for spiritual cultivation.
Temple is open every day, welcome everyone to visit, and join the cultivation
Cultivation is about correcting one’s behavior. “Do no evil, practice all virtues, purify one’s intentions. This is the teaching of all Buddhas.” In the realm of True Buddha Tantric Dharma, reciting the Purification Mantra serves as an antidote to impure body, speech, and mind. Reciting the Invocation Mantra is an antidote to the lack of affinity with the Buddha (not being close to sentient beings and Buddhas/Bodhisattvas). Engaging in grand prostrations is an antidote to one’s arrogance. Practicing Samadhi meditation is an antidote to one’s scattered mind and so on. Through consistent and diligent cultivation, one naturally cultivates inner brightness and experiences the joy of the Dharma. In the future, one will ascend to the pure land of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, attaining the fruition of enlightenment.
Open Hours: Monday to Saturday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM Saturday Group Practice Activity: 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM Sunday: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Buddhist teachings
In the mundane world, there is more suffering than joy, and every individual faces various problems in body and mind. Shakyamuni Buddha taught the eighty-four thousand Dharma approachs as remedies for the eighty-four thousand afflictions of sentient beings.
Once, someone asked Living Buddha Lian-Sheng, “How can we eliminate karmic afflictions?”
Living Buddha Lian-Sheng replied, “It is not through eliminating calamities and seeking blessings or longevity, nor solely through worshiping deities and Buddhas that we can eliminate karmic afflictions. All sentient beings with physical bodies are inevitably subject to birth, aging, illness, and death. Form, sensation, perception, mental formations, and consciousness are the intangible aggregates of karma. The greed, anger, and ignorance in our minds are the fundamental intangible karmic afflictions. By cultivating purity in body, speech, and mind, we are eliminating karmic afflictions. It is essential to sincerely repent for past karmic offenses and diligently practice the teachings of Buddhism to truly eliminate karmic afflictions.”
Repentance is used to counter past afflictions. Altruism is used to counter jealousy. Purifying the body is used to counter impure physical actions. Purifying speech is used to counter false speech, divisive speech, harsh speech, and frivolous speech. Purifying the mind is used to counter deluded thoughts and scatteredness…
The Buddha Dharma is profound and subtle, vast and pure, beyond conception. It can bring immeasurable peace and happiness to sentient beings. Everyone is welcome to seek advice on the Buddha Dharma, discuss its principles, and attain the perfect clarity of wisdom, ultimately realizing the fragrance of the Fivefold Dharmakaya of one’s true nature.

consecration of Buddhist statues
Ling Shen Ching Tze Temple holds a group practice event every Saturday, and respectfully invites the Grand master, Sheng Yen Lu to consecrate the Buddha statues.
If devotees have Buddha statues that need consecration, they can bring the statues to the main hall in advance and place them on the altar table designated by the staff. The sponsorship fee is voluntary
The significance of consecration is to merge the Dharma body and the physical body.
When the Dharma body and the physical body are merged, we offer incense, make prostrations, and praise, obtaining ten benefits: 1) fertility of the land, 2) safety and prosperity of the home, 3) deceased ancestors reborn in heavenly realms, 4) longevity and well-being for the living, 5) fulfillment of aspirations, 6) protection from water and fire disasters, 7) elimination of depletion and waste, 8) prevention of nightmares, 9) divine protection in all activities, 10) encountering holy causes more frequently.
Opening the eyes illuminates the world, opening the mouth benefits and saves others with speech, opening the ears hears and relieves suffering, opening the heart shows compassion to all beings, opening the hands displays supportive Dharma mudras, opening the feet travels far and wide, and opening the golden body radiates light in every pore.
The practitioner with opened eyes resides as the ruler of the mind. Through the lineage of the honored ones transmitting the Dharma, the self-nature returns to awakening.
