For those registering to take the Lay Bodhisattva Precepts at the Grand Ceremony, please prepare the following items in advance: (brown sash, yellow robe, prayer beads, khata, offering red envelope).
On the day of the ceremony, gather at 9:00 AM at the venue for an on-site rehearsal (call temple to confirm). The gathering location is at the registration booth or as directed by the broadcast announcement.
It is best for those registering to take the Lay Bodhisattva Precepts to arrive at Ling Shen Ching Tze Temple in Seattle the morning before the ceremony for registration and to learn the details of wearing the sash and the precept ceremony procedures through a rehearsal.
Please familiarize yourself with the verse for wearing the Bodhisattva precept robe in advance: "Auspicious is the robe of liberation, the repentance robe I now receive and wear, may it bring benefits in every lifetime."
