Testimony of a True and Miraculous Blessing of Living Buddha Grandmaster Lu
【Seattle / Natalia & Chandra】
My name is Dharma Sister Natalia Sugiharto, and I would like to share a true and miraculous story that happened within the True Buddha School. It concerns my niece Angeline, the daughter of my elder sister Dharma Sister Nony Sugiharto. When she encountered a life-threatening crisis, she invoked the blessings of Living Buddha Lian Sheng Grandmaster Lu and the protection of the Golden Mother of the Jade Pond (Jinmu) at Ling Shen Ching Tze Temple. What happened afterward was nothing short of miraculous.
On November 9, 2025 (Sunday), my niece Angeline, who is studying in Melbourne, Australia, suddenly developed a severe headache and went to Urgent Care. She soon began vomiting and experiencing seizures. After collapsing, she was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit, where she remained completely unresponsive. Doctors placed her on life support to help her breathe.
The doctors found inflammation in her brain and explained that they could not proceed with further treatment until her seizures stopped—they needed to perform a biopsy and a detailed MRI. However, even after five days, she still did not regain consciousness. Her family feared she might not survive. Doctors also noted swelling in her brain and believed there was a strong possibility of a tumor.
Hearing the increasingly discouraging updates from the hospital over several days, my husband Dharma Brother Chandra Khoe and I went to Seattle Ling Shen Ching Tze Temple in Redmond on the afternoon of November 13 (Thursday) to pray for Angeline. Following the formal ritual procedures, we made offerings to the Golden Mother, prayed, lit candles, offered incense and lotus paper, and burned joss paper at Burner No. 1, praying for Angeline’s protection. Later that evening, during Grandmaster’s empowerment blessing, we respectfully offered Angeline’s photo for his blessing. Upon learning of her critical condition, Living Buddha Lian Sheng Grandmaster Lu (MahaGuru) placed his hand on her photo multiple times to bless her; he also blessed my husband while he was holding the photo. At that moment, we felt as though we could hear an unseen voice of comfort from Grandmaster Lu himself: “It’s okay, don’t worry.”
About an hour after we returned home, we received joyful news from my sister Nony: Angeline’s condition had suddenly improved and stabilized! Just a few hours later, she miraculously regained consciousness. Her recovery progressed rapidly. By November 17, she was fully awake and continuing to improve—there was even a photo of her happily eating a hamburger. On November 18, she was discharged from the hospital and allowed to return home—exactly five days after Grandmaster Lu’s blessing.
What was astonishing was that the doctors had originally suspected a tumor. But after the blessing, the doctors reported finding only a very small glioma, which had dramatically shrunk. The significant swelling in her brain had also completely disappeared. The medical team was puzzled as to how such a tiny glioma could have caused such severe seizures. The latest report now suggests that it may be a low-grade glioma—or possibly not a tumor at all. She now only needs to return for a follow-up MRI in three months.
This is truly a miracle. After Living Buddha Lian Sheng Grandmaster Lu blessed her photograph, Angeline not only awakened from her comatose state within days, but the swelling and suspected tumor in her brain also disappeared!
On behalf of my sister Lotus Nony Sugiharto, my brother-in-law Lotus Made Tjakrawisada, my niece Angeline, and ourselves, my husband Lotus Chandra Khoe and I sincerely thank Grandmaster Lu for his compassionate blessings. Without this miraculous blessing, my young niece might still be struggling between life and death—or might not be alive today.

With deepest gratitude,
Lotus Natalia Sugiharto & Lotus Chandra Khoe
