A Painting by Grandmaster Led Me into Marriage

Earlene, a True Buddha School disciple living in New York, had been dating her boyfriend for many years. However, because he did not believe in marriage, he never proposed. Friends and relatives advised her to end the relationship and not continue wasting her youth, but she could not let go.
A few years ago, Earlene called the New York Lei Tsang Temple to ask whether a local master could perform a private fire offering for her. The master suggested that she visit Grandmaster in Seattle in person. In 2023, Earlene flew to Seattle, took refuge in Grandmaster Living Buddha Lian Sheng, and sought His guidance regarding her relationship. Grandmaster bestowed a talisman upon her and advised her to recite the Six-Syllable Mantra of Avalokitesvara. From that time on, she dreamt of Grandmaster several times.
During this period, Earlene came to Seattle every year to support Grandmaster’s dharma assemblies. On weekends she also joined the group cultivation and ceremonies online from home. Besides the Six-Syllable Mantra, she recited Grandmaster’s Heart Mantra and the Golden Mother’s Heart Mantra daily.
Then, on January 7, 2025, Earlene received one of Grandmaster’s paintings and placed it in her home. The painting depicted a pair of mandarin ducks gazing affectionately at each other beneath a tree by the water. The inscription read: “United in one heart, joined in one virtue; harmony in union; a relationship of devotion and completeness, lasting forever.”
A miracle happened: although her boyfriend had always refused the idea of marriage, he suddenly decided to enter the bridal chamber with her!
On November 7, 2025, Earlene and her boyfriend were married. The newlywed bride joyfully shared, “I waited ten years. One painting from Grandmaster miraculously made my dream come true.” Coincidentally, the day she requested the painting was the 7th, and the wedding date they eventually chose was also the 7th.
Earlene is deeply grateful for Grandmaster’s blessings and praises His extraordinary and wondrous spiritual power.
